How does the Wii handle the turbo functions
« on: December 12, 2006, 12:53:19 PM »
The Turbo controller has switches to adjust the turbo settings in a game. How does the Wii do it without the switches?

The PC Engine wasn't designed with turbo switches on the pads. The TG-16 shipped with the newer turbo pad that was later released in Japan. So don't expect any turbo or slow mo support or anything. Although it would be nice.

Actually, two of the buttons are normal, while the other two are turbo.  It works beautifully.
Games I Need: Bonk 3 (HuCard), Legend of Hero Tonma, Magical Chase, Soldier Blade, Super Air Zonk.

Got one to sell? PM me!

How fast are the turbo buttons? On par with the fastest Turbo Pad setting?

I'm assuming that the buttons are asigned on a per game basis and if any 3 - 6 buttoners come out they'll adjust them accordingly.

Based on the games I've played, they're the highest turbo settings.
