The following cheat is on the gamegenie.com site for R-Type to give level select options:
Level select (Japanese version):
Hold Select + I and press Run at the title screen.
I've tried it and it doesn't work. Anyone else get any success? All I can get is the code entry screen.
There's also this one for Volfied:
Level select:
Hold I + Select and press Left, Left, Down, Down, Right, Right, Up, Right.
Can't get it to work either!
