Vigilante/ Beat em up question
« on: July 23, 2007, 09:28:06 PM »
I've been playing Vigilante for the first time, and am surprised to find that it's basically a graphically updated version of Kung Fu Master. I guess I didn't read the PC Engine Software Bible review closely enough!

Are there any hucard beat em ups on the PC Engine that are more in the style of Double Dragon?

that's may be because it's IREMs offical prequel. alltough i don't think it's "just" a graphically update.

No, no HuCards, at least none that I've played.  Takeda Shingen appears to be a sword-fighting beat-em-up along those lines.

There are a few options for CD though: Downtown Nekketsu Monogatari, Double Dragon II, Riot Zone/Crest of Wolf, Ane San, Golden Axe, and maybe a couple more.
