Umm... are you using the ME system card or the actual BIOS rom? That makes a huge difference in ME when playing CD games.

I'm using whatever the default is for Magic Engine. How would set it up to use a different system card?

Make sure you have Super CD-ROM2 System V3.01 (U).pce (or the zip of it) in your rom directory.

Goto the CD drive selection part...

Click the arrow to show more options...

Change the system card selection to 3.0

If won't let you select a system card, then ME can't find the rom in its rom path.
