Which Family Guy character looks like Patrick Stewart?  I don't recall Stewart's voice in any episodes, other than the episode where they show part of a fake Star Trek episode and Picard mocks Worf by saying that his forehead looks like a fanny.

Are you guys talking about American Dad, by chance?  Stan's boss, Avery, looks like and is voiced by Stewart.  Incidentally, MacFarlane is supposedly a big fan of Star Trek and even guest starred in one of the Enterprise episodes.

Maybe it's a American Dad then. Both those shows look and sound exactly the same to me. There is no discernable difference between them except American Dad has an alien in it.

Haha. Why does it "piss you off"?

Because everybody and their genital warts thinks the show is just sooooo f*cking funny.

And it's not.

HAHAHA!! Far be it for me to speak for my genital warts, but they really have no sense of humour anyway.  :P

Fair enough though. I feel the same way about the Simpsons. It actually drives me crazy to hear people talk about how funny "the new episode was". There's absolutely NOTHING new about it. That show ceased to be funny in '93.  ](*,) The movie was OK (far from great), but that's only because I haven't watched the Simpsons in such a long time.

I find the Family Guy funny. Yes it's just a bunch of cut scenes with a story thrown in, but it's still funny. Sometimes it misses, or they take a joke too far, but that's half the fun of watching it. It's definitely not everyone's cup of tea that's for sure.

Anyway, Futurama was, is and always will be superior to both The Simpsons and the Family Guy.  :P

Maybe I ought to give Futurama a try. I've never watched a full episode. A friend of mine tried to get me to start watching it back in like 2001 or something.

I agree to some extent about the Simpsons. The quality of the episodes has definitely declined over the past few years. I enjoy the old classics a lot more than many of the new ones. But they still pop out a nugget every now and then, even today. I did enjoy the movie, however. It wasn't a grand slam, but I thought it was at least home run material.
