Yeah, I recall playing this one in the arcades in that spin around cabinet (Is this the R360 cabinet you're referring to Zeta?).  This thing seriously kicked ass for its time, and it still looks pretty damn good IMO.  :D

That cabinet and VOOT? That sounds pretty fun, though I figures the cabinet would go kaputz in no time with all the rapid movement (esp jump cancels), not to mention make the player feel pretty sick.  :-s

VOOT in an R360 would be sweet, but I honestly don't think I could play it for more than 5 minutes without vomiting.

Well I think there was more than one different deluxe cab...possibly. The normal motion deluxe cabs like the one G-Loc usually had were pretty minor compared to the R360 version. The R360 sent you upside down and everything. An attendant was required.

Ah, the one I recall spun around on the all the way (like a top) -- more movement than the milder cabinets than just rocked back & forth -- but didn't flip you around like the one on that link.  That looks pretty damn serious.

Since an average game of VOOT lasts 1 minute that would probably be fine.

Me and my friends can stretch it out. Just set us in front of a DC with Oritaro Tangram (best DC game ever) and give us a pitcher of Black Cherry Koolaid, and you will see epic battles that rival any Hollywood movie.

the Saturn version [of Galaxy Force] is much better and costs very little ($16 new at NCS)

It's not in stock!  :(  I also need to get the Genesis version.  I already have the SMS version (which I beat the first time I powered it up on my second try).

No personal attacks please.  If you have something personal that you feel the need to attack someone with, please PM it or better yet, keep it to yourself.

Yeah, I've been absent from eBay for awhile now.  I should check again as I think this game needs to be in my collection in all (home) forms.
