I remember when my uncle got a LaserDisc player... My family didn't even have a VCR yet; too expensive, and the battle between VHS and Betamax was raging. He also had a six-foot bigscreen projector TV. Every time we went over there we always watched movies since he basically had a theatre in his house and the biggest movie library known to man. Nowadays this setup wouldn't be half as impressive as it was back then.
Adding PCE console specific layer on top of that, makes for an interesting challenge (no, not a reference to Ys II).
