Anyone beat Doraemon Arabian Nights?

Just wondering.  It's a real beetch.  Must have shrunk that final boss three times with that fogging flashlight and still got a whupping.

Not me.  It's been awhile, but I'm pretty sure that I didn't get anywhere near the end boss.

Yeah first he comes out huge as f*ck and his giant foot tries to squash you.  Then you can fly around with a flashlight someone hands you at the last minute which shrinks him if you hit him enough.  But it must take like a gazillion hits to kill this guy.  Another boss like that that comes to mind is what I'm assuming must be the final boss of Atomic Robo-kid- how many times do you have to disable that ship's guns to finally beat it?
