OMG that review is funny.  It reminds me of playing Space Ace on the 3DO.  For some reason they thought it would be funny to change the directions up some, but to not add anything on screen indicating these different directions.  Something flashes left, I hit left, I die.  Ok...I try all the other directions and the button, I die each time.  Ah, it's left than up a moment later, ty game faqs.

A 2-D dragon's lair though is pretty aweful.  I expected an Apple conversion or an early DOS conversion.  The kind that came on 10 DD 5 1/4" floppys.  I am pretty sure one of those LD conversions could fit on a NES cart with the largest rom chips it can handle.  I know the Apple II version of Space Ace would fit on the NES.

I hope someone buys every copy of the NES dragon's lair and burns or burys them.

I've played the NES Dragon's Lair! The game is hard as hell and the controls were absolutely constipated.  I don't know how anyone can even beat it! :-&

As for the Playdia, for f*ck sakes, it looks like a CD player for toddlers. :shock: How bad were the sales for it? :?

That's because it is, and the sales were abysmal enough for Playdia to resort to releasing porn to help recoup development expenses.

Those toddlers love their porn after all.  :lol: Seriously, I bet when they say porn, they mean hentai. I wonder if somebody's grandma mistakenly gave a kid a hentai game because of the Playdia.... :lol:
