That's too expensive.  I'd wait for a deal more like this one.

that one ended already. Besides, he said he wanted it boxed. I do like the price difference though, haha. I guess you have to pay if you want that cardboard box.

Also that copy didn't even come in the Turbografx game case. The manual was just put into a CD case. Not a big deal, but it's nice to at least have the proper case.

Neutopia II never had a 'proper' case, but feel free to spend an extra $50 for the cardboard box and plastic tray.

Really?! Interesting. I obviously had no idea about that.  :-k I guess I have to ask why that is.  :)

TTi tried to save a few pennies and released the later games without a normal case; instead substituting a cheap, little plastic tray to keep the HuCard from sliding around in the box.

It's amazing; they're willing to spend all kinds of dough on a lame marketing campaign (i.e. Johnny Turbo), but won't give loyal customers proper cases.  ](*,)

They really were hopeless here in North America.  [-(

No doubt.  It probably would've been nearly as cost effective to eliminate the box entirely and use shrink wrapped Japanese style cases, and nobody in their right minds would prefer a cardboard box over a decent case.

Thanks for the help guys (espically TurboD)  :)  I would prefer mint/complete...but that $16.xx auction was pretty sweet.  : )

That auction has Neutopia II in a jewel case. Just to make sure, N2 didn't have a jewel case but just a cardboard box right? Still nice that he throws in a jewel case anyways for neatness and support.

Adding PCE console specific layer on top of that, makes for an interesting challenge (no, not a reference to Ys II).

Yeah N2 was post-jewel-case-era.

although, all my Turbo games end up in jewel cases whether they originally had one or not. I'll print out clean spine labels for them, too, and I try to match the font I use to the font used for the game title on the manual.
