PC Engine Duo-RX Power Supplies
« on: February 08, 2008, 07:14:20 AM »
Just received a Duo-RX from somewhere in China and they sent me a Sega AC Adaptor model SA-190A power supply the spec on this are:
Input: AC 100V 50/60hz 18VA
Output: DC 10V 850mA
It has a yellow tip at the end.
Is this a jap or US power supply?  And will this work in the duo-rx in the US?
Thanks

I'm pretty sure that's a JP power supply, but I wouldn't use it. Buy the Radio Shack 273-1771. Its totally perfect for the Duo R/RX at 9v 1500ma. Its kind of expensive but getting a 9v ps with a rating of 1A or more is really not as easy as it used to be since most modern devices don't suck that much power.

This PS is even white, so it maches the Duo, which not even the original NEC one did.
