Battle Heat!

This Tuto for Battle Heat (Eng & Fr) is the most complete!
There are 7/10 characters that have 8 Special Attacks. There are 2 characters (Zero and G?tz-Von-Dark (Silver)) who has 7 each and the remaining one (Shyu) has 6.
So, maybe there are more Special Attacks?

Notes:
- I'm not good to find names for Special Attacks, so if you have better ones, let me know.
- The Japanese manual of this game is very incomplete (miss a lot of Special Attacks + 2 Bonus Characters).

Is it a good game?
============
If you like old-school fighting games like Street Fighter, don't miss out Battle Heat. It's simply the best 2d fighting game I've ever played. It doesn't feel like a FMV (Full Motion Video) game, because it's very fast & interactive with a nervous & unique gameplay.

The emphasis is on defense and counter-attack (1 attack can be follow by 3 counter-attacks). You need to be really fast to do the 3rd counter. The 1st time you play it, just fighting with your bare hands (counter-attacking normal attack) is incredible. You really have to play it to understand how much fun it is. To make the game even more intense, once you have 25% of HP, you can use 4 Desperation Moves.

The character designs were created by Junichi Hayama (Hokuto no Ken/Fist of the North). In fact, 2 characters from this anime series are clearly recognizable.

Unused Character + Debug Menu
=====================
Unused Character (Simeon - King of the Kliph Dynasty)

1st time Debug Menu - Console crash and a debug test appear.

2nd time Debug Menu - Debug menu appear again after 10 min playing the game.

Important: If someone find a way to access the Debug Menu or Unused Character or to extract all the videos of the game, please let me know.

Tengai Makyo: Denno Karakuri Kakutoden

This tuto (Eng & fr) for this game is also the most complete!
Notes:
- The moves list is only in french.
- Thanks to Kommando1981 for the link in japanese that mention the secret technique.  :thumbsup:

Is it a good game?
============
The problem is the fight system:
- It's not fast enough.
- Too simple to defend.
- The best attack do a lot more damage than the others. So you almost always use the same attack, especially in Hard mode.
- Once you understand the gameplay, it's way too easy.
- ...

It's not a bad game for new players. It's just that the replay value is very low.

Interesting - thanks for sharing.  One day I might manage to play these and not just button mash.

Aaron Nanto extracted 1,321 clips from Battle Heat.
I don't know if it's all the clips of the game? If yes, it will be interesting to check all these to know if the moves list (special attack) is complete or not.

He also works on Battle Heat HD Restoration Project:

@ Necromancer: They are short games. And if you still find it hard, only defend at the start. This will give you time to understand the gameplay.

This was always a bit more of a spectator game for me. I love seeing people get farther than I could ever get! :D

I've never been great at timed/real time button press games, but I do enjoy Dragon's Lair quite a bit! I said Dragon's Lair, not Dragon Slayer btw- just in cast anyone was confused! ;)
