I think it's probably a coincidence, but it does seem like they liked the title name of Victory Run.

Outrun? Outrun was 982x better than Victory Run.

i'm talking bout racers for home systems. and outrun came out almost 3y later for the PCE ;)

OK, I downloaded and played both Victory Run, and Big Run (arcade). Big Run does copy some things, and it doesn't play as good, but the graphics are amazing! (I'm a sucker for scaler games.) The drum samples in Big Run sound like Phil Colins called me up over the telephone, and instead of him playing his drums, he farted into a sock.

Also the crashes are better in Big Run, but at the end of the day, Victory Run is better.

yeah..it's difficult to play arcade racers via emu due to the analog controll of the original hardware. the game was a lot of fun back then in the game center! may be have to play it again once again as well.

victory run's awesomeness is beyond question :mrgreen:
