Golden Axe CD has a nice anime opening but the game's graphics, gameplay are terrible and it's best to avoid it and play the arcade pcb or Genesis one. :)

As others have said.... It has fantastic cinemas, and an awesome soundtrack. The graphics are also not bad, they seem to be more or less correct. The problem with the game visually is that it seems to play at 20FPS for some reason. When the scene scrolls it just chunks along in nausea-inducing jerks. I have no idea why this is-- the game certainly isn't taxing the hardware at all. Hopefully whoever wrote the game engine for the Turbo version was fired shortly thereafter.

Nice collection, Shawn.  Genpei Toumaden sucks hairy anus, the sequel (Genpei Toumaden Kannoni) is the good one that was brought to the US as Samurai Ghost.  Which do you have?  For your sake, I hope it's the latter.

Ah, but Ys III is actually quite playable and even fun. And that makes all the difference.
