Perhaps a list just on which games are more expensive would be more suitable- as actual rarity isn't always the sole determining factor in a game's cost- Drac X for instance.   Turbochip-wise- speaking in terms of expense for I don't know how rare they actually are- Soldier Blade and Legend of Hero Tonma both seem expensive these days- not as high as Bonk III and Magical Chase but above most if not all of the other turbochips.  Just so happens they're both good games as well- Soldier Blade especially good, great, hell -- masterpiece rather.  :)

In the case of Soldier Blade, it most certainly isn't because it's a rarity. I'm pretty sure Soldier Blade is just as common as Super Star Soldier. The culprit here is probably that most people just don't let go of their copies. :)

Amen brother.  Want my Soldier Blade copy?  Kill me first and then try prying it out of my dead hands.   :-"

I agree that us, as a forum, should bring something to gether in lines of a rarity guide, something truthfull. The DP one is so out there as some members brought to my attention.

Without knowing actual print run totals, a rarity guide would be more of a rarity guess.  That said, a trip to PCE Daisakusen gives a decent idea of a title's scarcity and will only get better as more users register.

I suspect that what is being asked for is more of a price guide, in which case ebay is a good resource.  As long as you're looking for common titles and only look at completed auctions, the average sale price is fairly accurate, though the real value is a bit less after deducting ebay's exorbitant fees.
U.S. Collection: 98% complete    157/161 titles

yeah..if you refer to the "most collected game"-stat on PCED, dracula x has to be the unrarest game of all!

http://www.pcedaisakusen.net/2/35/stats.htm

so everybody knows that drac x isn't that rare for sure, but there're way more available games out there. that's because everybody likes to collect and own drac x, and if he got it once, he probably never will give it away again.
