Well once again I lost the auction by $5. I'm just going to buy one from Japan.

Erik,

I got the Duo today, I'm not really sure how the post office managed to get it across the country and over the Pacific in three days.  The dopey mailman left it on my porch when it was raining though.

I haven't had a chance to play it yet, but everything made it in one piece.  By the way, 5 minutes with a  Magic Eraser took off all of those marks, the Duo looks almost new now.

Thanks!

    JKM,
I actually sent it from San Diego. I put in my new address on ebay, but it still doesn't register on my seller account.  I got some of those scuff marks off before I sent it... I tried my damndest!  Thanks for letting me know what to clean them off with in the future!  Do you you like your Duo in component video?  The difference is very noticeable, especially in red colors.  However, the Duo actually looks pretty good in composite, but the extra step or two above that makes it outstanding!  S-Video modded Duos look very similar to the RGB-modded units, but slightly, SLIGHTLY less clear.  I am glad you now have one more system in component video.  Now if only I new how to do an NES RGB mod... I would be composite free for life!

Yeah, it does look great in component. However, I have a slight issue with the little PSX converter box-it doesn't output any audio from the right channel for some reason.  The system itself is fine with the regular cables though.

This isn't a big deal though, I was planning on getting a custom RGB cable made anyway. Heck, if I'm really ambitious I might add some RCA jacks to it.

I use an Audio Authority 9A60.

I picked it up years ago to hook up a Dreamcast to a HDTV. It works great (and automatically!) with any resolution unlike another one I have.

Oopo you really confused me with this post, thought you were implying that it worked with a Duo.... but I guess I didn't specify in my last post that the transcoder was to be used on a Duo.

Well I bought the same box and JKM. Now I just need to either buy Scart or hack the box!
