I believe it's either my cheap pc engine rgb (modified from cheapo ps1 cable with 8 pin din to jap 21 pin rgb) which is causing this, i am trying to wrap with aluminium foil tape to provide some shielding from Electrical/power supply interference, so far, only slight improvements.

My ps2/ps1 with schp1050 official rgb cable has no interference and US super nintendo with 21 pin rgb jpn has minimal interference,

if have no choice but you remake a newer pc engine rgb cable from ps1, consider ixos (uk, possible the best) and monster (overrated, but has ok shielding) have sealed scart end connectors, ie, i can modify a scart cable if the sockets can be opened, any other alterntives? apart from the expensive sony scph1050 rgb 21 pin cable any other high quality cables out there?

Do you think additional layer of copper foil wrap/tape as additional sheilding will improve things?

can you suggest any other way apart from modifing a newer better quality ps1 cable for pc engine?
