I was curious, is this game any better than the crappy Knight Rider game on the NES?

I just listened to the HES file from Zophar.net, it's got a awesome soundtrack.

Yeah it sucks...you jump sometimes for what seems to be no reason. The controls are way less than responsive and the graphics, while I am sure are better than the NES are still bland at best. Safe bet to just stay away...unless its free...then just to have it in your collection...maybe

Well since I am one of the few people that can have some serious fun with the "crappier" games, then I may as well give my two cents! I think it's quite fun actually! It's better than the NES version from what I remember, and I believe KIT speaks in Japanese. It's a pretty cool game and I would sort of compare it to S.C.I. (sequel to Chase HQ).

Adding PCE console specific layer on top of that, makes for an interesting challenge (no, not a reference to Ys II).

Yea, but the music is kinda cool.  One of the levels sounds early pre-trance era.  Game is a little weak.  But I wouldn't toss it outta my collection.  And what the hell WAS the jumping for?!  Makes no sense.  Still fun though.

when they announced new title for this gen console I sort of knew it'd be crap but had hope that it turned out to be rather good...
alas this wasn't to be the case...

I'm still looking for a decent title featuring this dynamic duo... :p
maybe we will get to see on PS3/Xbox360 in HDTV... he he

Well I'd say the Duo, because if you have been reading that other thread, the Turbo Duo can play Duo games, wipe your butt, AND cook French toast all for only $700! Can't beat a machine that does all of that...

hmm I have someone who does less than half of that - just cooking french toast w/ cinnamon sprinkle on top - and cost me way more than $700... (hope missus isn't reading this..)

guess it's Duo then...
