I think you're taking this too harsh D-Lite. I think Scuzzo84 is just wanting opinions on what to buy.
Scuzzo, when I said that HuCards can't save because they don't have batteries, there isn't very much to worry about. There are some games that can save on back up memory from either a Turbo CD add-on, Turbo Booster Plus, or a Turbo Duo unit. The games that did have this save feature were usually the games that really required it, like the Neutopia games, Dragon's Curse, and Devil's Crush. Also the games that didn't have save feature but could use it, like Final Lap Twin, had passwords to use, so you weren't ever completely screwed, even though saves are much nicer than passwords. The whole saving situation really isn't as bad as you would think.
As far as which system to buy exactly, I would recommend your best choice would be to buy a PC Engine Duo R (or a RX) and a Turbo Grafx 16. The PCE Duo R/RX will be able to play every format except American HuCards and that's where the Turbo Grafx 16 will come in handy and TG16's won't go for so much, usually around $30-50, while the PCE Duo R/RXs can be around $150-200. The X-Box would be a nice choice to get if you don't care about collector's reasons and if you wanted one anyways, but it will be pretty costly too having to buy an X-Box and the necessary needs to play emulators.
I can talk to you more about this on AIM.
