I've always thought there should be a legal limit of 0 when it comes to drinking and driving.
That guy should get his balls ripped off and fed to him.

Agreed, there is absolutely NO excuse for driving drunk. And there should be no tolerance for such things.

Thanks for all your kind words, it's appreciated, no doubt!

I'll just restate a reply I made on a different forum, since I learned some more info that I need to correct:

I did find out that what I heard happened in court was slightly different, apparently he didn't blow kisses to my family, but to his family, but I did find out he was pumping his fist, like saying "he'll get thru this". Either way, he's a buttmunch. And my cousins husband had to be escorted out of the courtroom for some of his own behvior toward the drunk driving bastard. I'm really hoping he doesn't do something drastic, & end up getting himself in trouble for trying to take vengence of some kind.  He truly loved her, & is probably more angry then anyone else in the family from what I can tell

There is a tremendous amount of evil in the world to beware of, but I believe there will be a time relatively soon when these kind of things are no more, that God will says "that's enough" & put an end to all suffereing, & then "the meek shall inherit the earth."

Paranoia D ~ Sorry to hear about what happened, very sad story all around. Have the two families reached out to each other at all, other than what went on in the courtroom?

Nah, I don't think so.  As far as I know, his family is still in support of him, despite his wicked life.  If I were related to the guy, I would've cut him off a long time ago.  That doesn't mean I wouldn't down deep still love him as my relative, but as long as he'd be living a messed up life, I'd have nothing to do with him personally.

Hey P_D :(

I wish you and your family never had to deal with this. Tragic, in the truest sense of the word.

Soldier on, comrade.

Blowing kisses?  Are you for f*cking real?  WTH man??  No remorse, nothing.  Far as I am concerned, he needs to die.  The f*ckin end.  Sorry to hear about this man.  I have no mercy on this kind of shit.  It would be somewhat different if the man was in shambles and totally messed up that his actions took a life, but no.  Not this guy.  Kill him.

Yeah, some of us have to learn, by making some terrible mistakes in our lives, but this guy just doesn't seem to learn no matter what he does :x

I have a couple alcoholics in my immediate family. They're both very lucky that they didn't kill anybody when they drove drunk.

But they both realized what they were doing is wrong. This guy is apparently unrepentant. f*ck him in the ass with a hot poker.
