I have a 450W APC UPS at home. Great stuff to put in the car etc. :)

Thanks everyone.  I ended up getting 16 regular Eneloops, 4 AAAs and a charger.  It seems a bit overkill, but the charger specified it came with 4 AAA's 4 AA's and 4 of the NEW AA's.  And I needed 12 AA's of the same type to share with my Nomad and GT.  But it turns out they were all the new type, so I have OVERKILL.

I was tempted to get the colour ones so I know what needs charging when.

The great thing about Eneloops is the super slow discharge. I always leave a fresh set charged, and then just swap em when needed.
