What is a "Develo Starter Kit"?

Can you make anime video with it? I can't speak Japanese (so it's probably useless to me) but I would really like to know what this kit does. It shows a picture of a PC computer disk on the cover but also shows a picture of a DUO disc. I never seen one before. I would love to know all the details please. Thanks!

That seems really cool. So how does the "Develo box" hook up a DUO to a PC? Through the HuCard slot I would imagine(?).
This item seems cool but aren't there other ways to make games with newer computers. Even so, This item seems like one of those rare collectors items that is actually justified by a high price.

How would you boot the develo cd then?
It actually hooks up (serially) throught the controller port... honestly.

And $400 for it I know Arkhan had one, and I doubt he paid even $100 for it. And, please note, it is only the cd and boot floppy. You still would need to build the actual develo box itself :-(

It was awesome in 1996, or whenever it was, but now it's just a collectable. Now there are much better things out there to make PCE games with and they don't require an old/rare computer.
