Get the speed ups and the lazers+options.

then, hold the button down and jiggle around til you succeed.

Salamander level 1 is the hardest f*ckin level in the game if you ask me lol

Really? I never, ever had any problem with level 1 in Salamander. Are you guys just saying this to make the OP feel better? I had far more trouble with the level 2 boss than anything. The f*cking thing takes eons to die.

the first boss is kinda strange, if you fight him with full weaponry he's faster than if you fight him with weak weaponry (those who already died before at the germ walls). anyway get nuff speed ups and he should be history in no time.

Nice video.

I agree, if you are powered up, then the game is easier.

I agree, if you are powered up, then the game is easier.

Doesn't that count for sheer every shooter ever made in history of videogames?

But nevertheless as I said above, the boss is harder (moves kinda faster/different) when your fire power is on max. as when your power is weak/slow. So this probably is what most peeps do irritate. At least it did me. So knowing this, you have to act different to beat him without losing a life.

Thanks.

Well not every shooter.

Take Deep Blue for example. You're stil screwed regardless of what you have :P

Edit: okay I found the speedups. I didn't properly kill all those orange whatchamacallits right after those huge teeth looking things, so I didn't pick them up before :P. Thanks.

Agreed. But, that level 2 boss sure does test your reflexes while it's testing your patience. :)
