What makes this game so rare? Or should I say- why is it so expensive on Ebay? It was an earlier release after all(1990)... please fill me in

It isn't rare. It's expensive on eBay because so many eBay users are impatient "gotta catch 'em all" collector types with big credit cards.

Expensive does not equal rare.

Chew Man Fu has always been a $15-$20 game, until now.

It's expensive for the same reason everything else is these days: it's the RoyVegas effect.

That's what I've assumed... regardless- I don't see it pop up that much

It's a good game, I'll give it that.  I really enjoyed playing through it.

Then again, I got it a few years ago for $20, so it was a lot easier to enjoy at that price.

As a newer member this reference totally went over my head... can someone please explain?

Chew Man Fu is rare now???
Like nat said it is $15 to a $20 game... and thanks to zeta's reference to pokemon..hahhaha.. "got to catch them all"  i needed that laugh.

I know to some people reading you think we are out of touch to the "real market value" but the truth is if i had the game to sell that is as much as i would ask for it.. so be thankful not all of us look to ebay for prices :).. there is hope out there and it is here on this forum.

Thanks for asking djolof, these are good questions... as we hate seeing new or even old members spending more money then they have to... it gets us down right raging!!!!!!!
