Well, I loosely count SFT anyways because the guys a tool.
but, if you don't count those games, we basically win.
MSX still pummels us though. Jerks.
Yeah, I love what SFT is doing and original rom creations like Tongueman's Logic are awesome, but I think that the physically published Turbo games are a big deal, in regards to what those wiki lines were implying. Implode, Meteor Blaster and Insanity aren't generic shovelware like Frog Feast. They reflect a passion for their console.
The Super Fighter Team releases do reflect the current interest in the Mega Drive, but not the same way as somethig built from scratch, even if it's based on a classic game. The SFT MD games were built from scratch back when the MD was still current.
Pier Solar is epic and a big deal, but Mindrec, Aetherbyte and Frozen Utopia/Eponasoft all being separate enities that are publishing games really represents the community aspect of the Turbo scene.
I just don't think that the Turbo should not get a mention of a current homebrew scene when the SNES and Genesis wikis do as part of glorifying them. But like I was saying, it's all part of the negative slant of the Turbo wiki.
