Did a search here and on the internet. Posted some questions in the recent Tennokoe Bank thread, but I think it got lost in the shuffle. I came up with no info on this thing.
Hooks up to the back of a PCE system and uses a AA battery to power the save feature. Tennokoe Bank or a supporting huey can be used to access the BRAM. That much is common sense.
Now my questions...
1.)What is the light on the back right of the unit for? When I first hooked it up and installed the battery, it lit up when I switched my PCE on. At first I assumed it may have been an indicator to tell when the battery needs changed. But why only light up with the system switched on? Is it the missing power indicator light that the PCE is missing? Not sure, but now after a few weeks it doesn't light up but my saves are still intact so that can't be the case, can it?
2.) How long can this thing keep saves intact on a AA battery?
3.) Will changing the battery erase the BRAM? If so, can that be avoided by doing it with system powered on?
If anyone can offer some assistance, would be much appreciated.
