I guess it would depend on shipping fees, no point getting close to original shipping price and having the thing travel twice.  I need to find out more about the rates I guess.

I can't see how doing a group buy would save anything unless every person only wanted to buy one item, and even then, probably not by enough to be worth it.  Flash carts make more sense because they have bulk discounts.

And if it was me and I had only gotten disk 8 of a set, I'd have emailed them and said "Hey, you only sent me disk 8!"

I did. They knocked %30 off the price. Realistically, what else could I ask? They don't have the thing, it was only $10 as it is...I might be pissed if I weren't still riding the high from the last order of LDs, which was much bigger and everything was perfect. A stack of box sets as big as a Laseractive, all mint, for $75. Some of these sets I've been lusting for since 1994, original price in the thousands of dollars. I'm stoked.

Btw, I really think EMS is awesome. It's expensive, but damn they are FAST. Five business days from Japan to my front door. It takes longer than that for UPS to ship me something from within the US.

I might be interested in part of a group-buy - but what are you buying?

well, taking a closer look, it seems like a group buy would be efficient if each person only wants a few games, as shipping is expensive on just a couple games.

I do shop from other sites that use stock photos, but they've always been accurate with their grading system so I can order with confidence. Surugaya is rather random and being forced to use EMS makes it too expensive to risk in my case.

I'm also interested to know which other sites you use with better information.
