Huey import converters - how hard would it be?
« on: March 29, 2012, 08:27:43 AM »
so, there are a few ways to play imports, right?
At MGC this past weekend, I saw an adapter marked at $140.
that just seems nuts to me!
after all, it's just a PCB with a slot on the end of it.
So, I'm curious, how difficult would it be to design a new adapter and get them made?
personally, i think the only difficult part would be getting the slots to put the actual cards in.

It's cheaper to region mod the system with a 8pdt switch or the switchless region mod the steve came up with.

The slots have always been the issue.

No matter what solution you come up with the chopsado is cheaper and a mod is better.
