Classic controller mount

Edit 1: The accessory guide is for devs, android 3.1 can use USB accessories.

Proof of concept questions

I have an idea about creating a mount of sorts that would let you hook up your smartphone to a classic controller via micro usb. The implementation right now would be mainly on android phones using http://developer.android.com/guide/topics/usb/accessory.html as guide. If am reading it correctly it can be deployed on 2.3.x devices and the feature is native to 4.0.

I know there is a nes and SNES usb converters for PC use. I would imagine a converter for micro-usb wouldn't be hard to find.

The mount it self would allow you to hold your controller and mount the phone above it where you could tilt and move the phone to your desired angle. One of the main issues I can see now is the balancing so that the weight distribution is well set.

Comments, ideas, suggestions. Everything is in the brainstorming phase.

I've cross posted it: http://pcengine.freeforums.org/classic-controller-mount-need-your-feed-back-t171.html

THANKS!
