I have absolutely no interest in Microsofts new console. What, pay a premium just so you console will fail 54% of the time? No thank you, I rather spend the money on a high powered gaming pc.

I am glad to see Microsoft wise up and listen to all the backlash. Whether or not they intended to do it at least companies have seen the public response if such plans are ever thought of being implemented.

I am kinda thinking in along these lines too. A high end gaming PC could be a less stressful route. I doubt I would leave consoles behind completely though.

It isn't a matter of them "listening". It was never going to happen in the first place.

Exactly. It was never confirmed. Just speculation based on "unnamed sources". But we know how people love to run around telling us the sky is falling...
Games I Need: Bonk 3 (HuCard), Legend of Hero Tonma, Magical Chase, Soldier Blade, Super Air Zonk.

Got one to sell? PM me!

Actually a good friend of mine who works at Microsoft seemed pretty convinced it was going to happen... nothing confirm worthy, mind you, but the possibility was out there, and that's what got gamers all up in arms.

That Adam Orth thing didn't help things either.

EDIT: Actually, it was pretty damn well confirmed. The Durango SDK spelled that out in black and white.
