HELP: Turbo CD Board Swap
« on: August 27, 2013, 01:57:19 PM »
Trying to swap out the main bord in my tgcd unit. Does any one know how to disconnect the two 10 and 11 wire connectors? Not the ribbon cables, but the two connectors with the rainbow wires.  :-k

They're soldered in, either desolder it or switch the board WITH the lcd/button board intact.

Thanks. I was afraid of that. My soldering skills are lackluster.  I'll take another look at it tonight.

You don't have to remove those wires. Remove the lower board as well that the wires are connected to and transfer it over.
