- Best of "Todaima PC Land" - I watched the whole thing even without really understanding Japanese and still really enjoyed it! It doesn't have a whole lot of PCE stuff on it, but it's still a great viewing experience. I wish someone had previous episodes of this.
- Hudson Karavan Stage (part 1) - A video of that caravan tournament thing in Japan with Hudson shooters. Pretty interesting watch and the kid's facial expressions are hilarious.
- Hudson Karavan Stage (part 2) - Another part of the caravan tournament. Once again, the kid's facial expressions are great!
- Well not exactly PCE related at all but still a excellent classic clip from Better Off Dead

Crap! I can't watch these now, but I want to see the Hudson Caravan stuff!

A music compilation recently came out (or is due out imminently) in Japan, called "The History of Video Game Music" ... or something like that. I'd love to buy it, but I blew all my $$$$ already. It has 7-9 discs, and 1-2 of them are dedicated to PCE games exclusively .... PLUS a bonus DVD includes Hudson Caravan footage.

I wonder if this YouTube footage is similar to the footage from the CD Box Set?

Oh man, that game music CD sounds AWESOME! I wonder how much that stuff's gonna cost? I might have to get that though when it comes out, too badass! Also the bonus Caravan DVD totally makes it sound like a must too. Don't get too excited about those clips I gave you though, you don't really see much gameplay, mainly just these kid's wild facial expressions as they play - those kids REALLY get in to the games

that pc engine show was long!!!

I wished they showed more ingame stuff but the presenters in that show are crazy when they replayed stuff they did over the previous episodes XD..

Wished I lived in Japan back then...

Disc 1~2: Sega Mark III/Master System
Disc 3~4: MSX
Disc 5~6: PC Engine
Disc 7~8: Megadrive
Disc 9: X68000

That's kind of dissapointing actually, I was hoping for some NES tracks (how can you not have NES tracks?). Not saying that those systems didn't have great tunes, but having more variety would've definitely been nice! Unfortunately I'll pass on this one, $180 for five platforms is just too much

. That DVD is rad though.

I'm with Keranu on this one. I looked through the contents of the entire compilation and wasn't very excited. The idea of the box set is awesome though, I just wish there was a little more variety.

Seems to me that about 8 games were chosen from each system and then like every song from that game is represented.

Maybe they should have split up the compilation by system. Something like "Legend of Game Music: PC Engine" and still keep it 9 CDs + 1 DVD.
