Can we stay on topic and talk about Alshark please?

No offense but I AM on topic. You just used eight words and a punctuation mark to talk about the game, and 46 words and three punctuation marks to whine about how you're mistreated. If you had written only "Does anyone know how good this game is?" the thread would have had a different outcome.

NW: Hey, I made it on this psycho's Enemies' List, how about that ?? ;)

BT: Look at how the fake SFII' carts instantly sold out and were immediately listed on eBay before the flippers even took possession. Look at Nintendo's overpriced bricks. Look at the typical forum discussions elsewhere.

You can't tell most retro gamers anything!

@xak: with good equipment, avoiding bullets and a bit of luck, i guess. it seems that your ship cannot damage it at all, but thats wrong. just shoot at it and avoid bullets (means fly up and down, and often away and then back to the ship). thats the trick, after a few minutes fight if over. :)

I hope to play the english version a decade from now. Not even kidding. We need more hackers for the PCE CD rpg and graphic adventures

Yeah, don't be such a pussy.  A decade from now you'll be lucky to have five more translated games to play, and Alshark sure as shit won't be one of 'em.

^I dont mind. Thats a pretty pessimistic way to look at the future of hacking for without a doubt THE BEST japanese library never translated. All these kids trying to finish up the 8bit NES games JUST to finish them 100% english. Im guessing SNES will be next, then they will have no choice but to try and fight the PCE's coding

Im an optimist , I pray the right hacker finds the treasure trove of great games that require japanese to fully enjoy

Rather than be pessimistic or optimistic, I'm being realistic.  I'd rather enjoy the games now than cry in my cheerios over and over that nobody is catering to my wants.
