My bad, i was sure of it, but i'm totally wrong actually. Don't know where this idea came from...
The vendor I bought my PAL TG16 from just removed the games from the boxes. They came in a baggie with a sticky seal. The cardboard box was removed, the jewel case, instructions, HuCard cover and game were inside.
