Air Zonk Case
« on: September 23, 2014, 05:00:02 PM »
Hello all. I was given a very nice gift for my birthday, a lose copy of Air Zonk. I have been playing it like crazy and would like some advice on locating the case and manual, even box if possible. This wouldn't be to resell, it is literally my favorite game right now, and it is the only one I have without a case and don't wanna lose it.

Also, I'm curious if anyone has tips on beating the last leg of Air Zonk, I keep dieing.

Finally, I am looking for a safe and low cost AV mod for my turbografx 16. I want quality over low price. Thanks all. I also picked up r-type, dungeon explorer and splatter house at cge.

That's a shame, I'll have to meet this sparky and ask about it, I think one of the local stores has a sports game I can buy for like, 6 bucks.

As far as video mods for the regular TG16...  get a hold of Turbokon.  Its fairly simple to tap composite video and L+R audio and mount some jacks but he also has component video encoder boards if you planned to use it on a newer HD display or one of those later CRTs that accepted 240p YUV.

here is the pdf manual if you want to check it out.

plug- I do have air zonk done in 8dp if your interested in non original casing projects http://www.thecoverproject.net/forums/index.php?topic=5101.0

don't forget to try no friend mode for some different power up options, its a whole different experience.

going from memory you could try in the last stage- use cards for starters then the powerful red gloves for the henchman boss in part 2 use the lightning or gloves you will loose your power ups for the last boss 99.9% of the time so thats normal, I posted last boss tips somewhere if you want them, I could probably track them down.
