(9/25/2014 - 10/1/2014) Game of the Week: Gekisha Boy
« on: September 24, 2014, 03:00:18 PM »
---------------------------------------------------
September 25 - October 1: Gekisha Boy
---------------------------------------------------

(chosen by owlnonymous)

This is definitely one of best examples of a genre-defying game on the PCE. I suppose you could call it a weird twist on a light-gun game (imagine if you could actually use a light gun!) but it still winds up being really unique nonetheless. What do you think about it?

Please keep those new submissions coming! Remember, we had a reset, so everyone may now submit another game!

I haven't played this in years. Will I still be amused by the nods to pop culture and nudity and ______.

Probably.

Great game, I love when games are chock full of weirdness like this.  I never played it all the way through though, I should give a shot.

I have the 2nd game on the PS2 but never found a decent price on the PCE one ;____;

I'd love to try it someday!

I really dig this quirky game, though I can't beat it.  There's even a nice translation patch to get rid of those pesky moon runes!

This game is a lot of fun! It's nice to have the english translation that makes it even more fun. I only got to the second Ghetto stage so far. I'm curious to see what the other stages look like
