new pc engine owner here
« on: March 08, 2015, 09:44:32 AM »
Just wanted to say hello and as the title says im a new pc engine/cd rom2 owner.

i found these forums by chance as there seems to be little information on the pc engine compared to other systems and being from the uk pc engine stuff is really hard to find.

I only have a handful of hucards at the moment but the library is completely new to me and i find that quite interesting/exciting.

Looking forward to chatting with you all

Greetings, comrade :)

It doesn't matter if you only have a few games. Play them.

Cry.
Laugh.
Rejoice.
Lament.
Shake your head at the non-fun.
Smile at the good fun.

Listen to the music.

Read, maybe.

You are one of us.

One of us.

Obey.

Cool. Which PC-Engine did you get? I played the Turbo at my friends house growing up so I played what games he had. I picked up a Duo a couple of years ago. It was always the one that got away. Not anymore. Sadly some games are out of reach for me. I did finally get Dracula X for my Duo. Then bought another Duo R with RGB mod and region mod. It works great with my Frammeister.

congrats on being a part of the pc engine family.  It is definitely a very fun and quite a unique system in a way.  You will definitely have a lot of fun collecting for it :)

Thanks for the warm welcome guys.

I started out with just a core grafx but browsing games online i noticed there was a lot of cd games aswell so i took a gamble and bought An untested briefcase setup. The duos are nice looking setups but theres something about the briefcase look that appeals to me more :D

Welcome aboard!

I'm sure you'll get that beefcase working soon, and then you'll play Gotzendiener.
