Guys, I just recently received a loose hu of super star soldier. ...Its awesome.
It is the most impressive shooter I have played in a long time (though I dont play them too often).  This is the game that I should have started my collection with. It is crazy good...and I can't make it very far at all.
Picked it up in a bundle of crap off eBay. There's a few cards I plan to raffle to other newbies and a couple others I'll keep, but this is so far the gem of my collection.
Just sharing.

man that robot boss took aages before I managed to beat it's attack pattern.   Love the scorpion boss and the music to that thing !

I pretty much know the pattern, but not well enough to effectively get past it. I can defeat that boss, but without consistency. So when the next stage comes around I'm practically naked. It's so discouraging. I too hang my head.

i never finished the level after him...



btw i have some shoot em ups for my pc engine which i never even played (gate of thunder, lords of thunder, final soldier and many more)...have to try them soon!
