Good idea, I just don't wanna ruin its resale value. I'm liking the carbon fiber decal idea too. Still debating on the best way to maximize flipping potential.

Before you use Magic Eraser, Try this.  Take it apart and clean the plastics with warm water, mild soap and a soft tooth brush.  Buy some Autoglym Rubber and Vinyl Care Spray. Apply it generously with an automotive microfiber cloth.

You'd be surprised how much just doing that helps conceal the scratches.  The system will also look clean and shiny.  And you will have avoided doing any further irreversible damage to the plastic's texture.
