So my lovely girlfriend and I are down in Ocean City, MD for a little vacation (apologies for not posting with my usual fervor for the next week or so.) I've been coming here all my life and have some really fond memories of playing arcade games on the boardwalk. So... we went there today, and every one of them has replaced the classics with ticket redemption games!! Last time I was here they were still the ones from my childhood. I'm sure the cost/profit ratio from running those wasn't great, similar to the barcade woes discussed elsewhere on this forum. They gotta turn a buck, but it still saddens me. Coolest thing I saw was a Jersey Jack Wizard of Oz, but I didn't get a chance to play yet.
