If someone can tell me how to beat this castle (with specific directions. Ie, up 2 screens, one left, etc) I'd be interested to hear it. Just for the sake that I can see it for myself and then give up trying to solve the other castles. :-) Most aggravating mini game in my life.

"Just for the sake..."

I love drinking sake whilst playing this game, too.

lol :-)

On the sieges, when you see the paved stone pathway, you are getting close. Ignore the guards attacking you, and just go. There really isn't a strategy to it otherwise.

Start with the one who isn't Yoritomo or yoshitune, can't remember his name. It's the easier of the three campaigns.

I really miss playing this game.  Almost had it beat before I sold all my games and system.

Kiyomori, stupidly easily IMO, though, that was 20+ years ago, maybe I'd be surprised.  We used to have late nite sessions of this game BITD.  I remember my friend Uriah being obsessed with it, playing it till 5 or 6 in the morning(I was out of space, so no saving!).  I recall waking up & in shock that he was still playing it.  Good times!
