Dang, bonknut's pictures ain't working for me.  :(

I voted for the PCE's style being better and more fitting within the series, not that I think the SNES game is particularly bad looking.  If it were ported to the PCE, though, I'd rather see the art style kept as close to the original as possible than a complete re-color.

FINAL VERDICT: I would love the game on the PCE. If creative folks wanted to change/modify things, I would *not* stop them. 

It would be neat to recreate the SNES aesthetic on PCE, just to prove it could be done (for a level or two or a boss fight), but other parts of the game to be PCE aesthetic.

A playable, awesome, proof-of concept built into a playable game.

OBVIOUSLY I AM DAYDREAMING.

Let me fantasize about this.

Don't point out the absurdities/impracticalities.

I remember having the snes version and wanting the PCE version. It was just a better game with better colors and sound. And the cutscenes. Wow.
