Kieth Courage, Neutopia and Dungeon Explorer

Kieth Courage is there cause it came with the system.

First three cd games after getting a TurboDuo are.....

Y's 1&2, Dungeon Explorer 2, Exile 2

I skipped the 4n1 disc for a bit but once I tried that, Gate of thunder blew me away at the time.

I got my Turbo for Xmas of 1990.  This is interesting for me because I can't remember the first 3 games I played for any system (and I've had every nintendo, most sega, Playstation etc) other than the Turbografx.  Those were (in order played):

1.  Splatterhouse
2.  KC (obligatory... hated it then, hate it now)
3.  Legendary Axe (rental)

I got lucky when my mom bought me and little brother my spoiled cousins TG-16 with 5 or so games. The first 3 I remember playing we're Galaga 90, Bonks Adventure and Bloody Wolf.  Im 100% about Galaga being the one I played the most that first couple of weeks on my little 13 inch black and white tv.  I didn't really get a chance to appreciate all the nice colors that most games had for a while(I was even more enthralled with it then)  A few years down the road I found a couple of games at his house visiting my great aunt.  I found one of the legendary axes and Bonks Revenge.  Godbless my mom buying that for us as we only had a nes and smb/rad racer which we're fun but didn't exactly get me into gaming like the TG-16 did. Years later im still still playing the good stuff.  Ohh I never made a tread to introduce myself but my name is Sam.  I've been lurking for a bit and recently had some systems fixed/modded so im really happy to be here on a forum for all the PC Engine/TG-16 stuff.   :D

Bonks Adevture (cousins home in Dallas TX when I was maybe 12?)

Then in 2011-2012? When I got my TG-16 from a garage sale it had the following games which I picked up. Sigh back when people didn't care about the the TG-16. Guy sold the core system for $25 and $5 a game.

Splatterhouse
First two Bonk games
A racing game
That battle tennise game
Ninja Spirit
Dungeon Explorer
Blazing Lasers
Bloody Wolf

I couldn't say which of these games was my second and third game ever played. If I had to guess?  Ninja sprit and bloody wolf.

Welcome, comrade. :)

If you like Rad Racer (I do), then grab Victory Road, which cranks up the challenge with a parts management mechanic.

Also, the Space Invaders HuCARD (the special mode) is a lot of fun if you like classics (Galaga).

:)

Bonks Adventure, King of Casino, Keith Courage and Takin it to the Hoop came with the Turbografx 16 me and my dad exchanged for a NES with around 20 games to a street vendor at Coney Island. Back in the day there were a lot of second hand shoppes across the street from the amusement park.
