Funny story just for entertainment:
The guy who sold me my Turbo Duo back in the day gave me one US Duo controller, + a second one for free since it lacked the original I and II buttons - he replaced them with SNES plastic buttons which barely worked.
So I went the easy way, got my hands on a defective Coregrafx pad and robbed the two buttons from it - problem solved.

They tried to make me do a recap
I said no, no, no

Hi, I've been a hardcore lurker for about a year and some change. Had to make my first post today because I'm at my wit's end and could use some help. I'm looking for a US Turbo Duo controller. I don't think I've ever had this much trouble locating a peripheral before. They don't seem to pop up too often on Ebay and finding one locally seems like a pipe dream. If anyone wants to help out a newbie and has any spares they're willing to part with for a reasonable price it would be much appreciated!

Hi, I've been a hardcore flipper for about a year and some change. Had to make my first post today because I'm at my wit's end and could use some help. I'm looking for a US Turbo Duo controller to go with a loose console I found so I can power up and win the eBay. I don't think I've ever had this much trouble locating a peripheral to complete a system I am trying to flip before. They don't seem to pop up too often on Ebay, and when they do, it is usually another stay at home eBay seller, so... and finding one locally seems like a pipe dream. If anyone wants to help out a gouger and has any spares they're willing to part with for a reasonable price it would be much appreciated!

That is definitely a possibility.

Post of the week here.

I didn't have time to notice this thread but if I had I would have left one of my snark bombs like I often do to secretly communicate to the regulars that I see red flags. Nothing specific sometimes just...fishy.
