I need to repair an 8-DIN connector to a TurboPad that is missing its pins and the shielding on the end-
I already have an 8-DIN pin connector that I can source the parts from.

I'd just replace the whole cable...seems easier than splicing a cord with a replacement DIN. I find it a pain to solder those DIN connections on the inside.

Unless you have the metal part that came out then replacing the cable itself is the best option.

If you still have the metal part and all the pins on it are still good, then you can glue them back in. I've done this many times with good results.
