Question about YS IV and system card 3.0

I got YS IV today but it dont play sound all the time with magic engine it play cut scene music and sound, some field music and sound but most of the time it has no sound,is there a way to fix that any help would be great and my second question is if i have the old american version of turbo graph x with the CD connected to it will it support the system 3.0 card even if its the japanese one ?

Well I've never played Ys 4 on Magic Engine. When you play it do you use the Magic System card that comes with or a normal system card that you can download from most emulation sites? Magic Engine dones't play certain games right and the music is off or wrong on some of them.

As for playing it on a Trubo Grafx 16 with a cd add you need a converter if your using a Japanese 3.0 system card.
