Got a 1200 mha adapter and it works! Strange that the other one would power it but not be able to read games...

That means you aren't  using the right System card. You need at least 3.0

System card 2 will show the alternate program.

Not really strange since manufacturer indicate a 1500ma power suplly 

Next time JUST READ the advice under your system ....
