For example, Street Fighter have the largest ROM capacity but does that wonderful game have a extra RAM on the Hu card itself.

Thanks,

None do, and I don't really see why they would need to.

There is one HuCard game with battery save (Populous), but that's about it.

I'm pretty sure that Street Fighter II uses bank switching.  I think the HuCard limit without it is 8 MEGA POWER.  Super Street Fighter on the Genesis has 40 MEGA POWER and it also uses bank switching since the Genesis can only handle 32 or less.  Same goes for the Neo Geo and it's games above 380 MEGA POWER.

Adding PCE console specific layer on top of that, makes for an interesting challenge (no, not a reference to Ys II).

No. No games that I know of add extra ram on the hucard except system card 3.0 and the Arcade card. It would have been nice if they did. More RAM benefits games in that more complex compression could have been used (packing more animation and more tiles/sprites). Only 8k of ram can be pretty aggravating at times depending on what you're trying to do.
