I haven't heard anything good about it. I know a few people that bought it, but haven't played it myself.

Anyone played Last Hope? Looks like a horizontal shooter. I saw some screenshots that looked bad-f*cking-ass. But I'd like to know if the game itself is any good before I shell out $40 on it.

I'm familiar with 95% of the Dreamcast games, at a time i was digging deep in eveything DC.

For shooters i reccommend the following titles based on my experience, friends advice and media.
Some of them might be expensive.

Trigger heart excelica (recently for sale)
Karous (recently for sale)
Border down
Ikagura
Zerogunner 2
Mars Matrix
Castle Shikigami 2
Under defeat (just made it on my list)

Last hope is good to but might not be with the very best for some.

Sorry to necropost.

In searching for more games to expand my meager Dreamcast collection, I came across EGG. It looks f*cking awesome. Before I buy it I want to know why I'm supposed to avoid it. It's even a Hudson Soft title!

Has anyone else played it that actually has good things to say about it?

Is it cheap?  Its actually a weird but mildly fun little Zelda type game, I liked it well enough.  If its under $10 I think you'd dig it, any more and you might feel a little ripped off since it's just ok.
