There's some stuff there, but I would really have liked more info about their Hudson days. And yes, a games list would have been nice, too. They just don't seem to be the company they used to be.

Video game developers seem to keep sparse information about their previous efforts available after the generation has come and gone. Not to mention when the generation in question was 20 years ago.

IREM is another good example. I was on their website the other day and there is precious little information on anything pre-PS2. Obviously, they have an "R-Type" section that has some brief music clips from the first couple games but not much else on those early titles. I couldn't find anything at all on games like Ninja Spirit, Mr. Heli, Image Fight, etc.

There may also be some information loss or focus change when the company re-orgs. Didn't Irem fold and get reborn or did they manage to just hang on by a thread? If Red, for example, had any major reorganizations, the company will likely focus on efforts surrounding that reorganization. No current management team wants to give any of the previous management teams, especially the one they just replaced, any credit for anything.

1000th post.

How about "Hagane", a SNES action platformer from RED that's so overlooked, and imagine how much fire it would've been if was SCDROM2 or Arcade Card.

That game ruled so hard, I've been searching for a complete US version for years now.  It definitely would have been way better on Duo though with some sweet cinemas and awesome music.  Its like the ninja game Kaze Kiri should have been, and one of the only platformers I've played on SNES (or any system actually) that comes even remotely close to being as kickass as a Shinobi game.
